In 2005 a major decision was taken to use the skill and experience of our highly trained workforce to expand its expertise into the very demanding and technical oilfield industry.

A great deal of research and development on Premier Thread Forms was carried out with major oilfield companies, before the new range of tangentially mounted inserts was introduced to the marketplace.

Testing proved very successful and PosiThread was one of the first companies to be granted a license from Vallourec Mannesman to produce the full range of VAM threads. This can be checked out on their web-site in the TSL15 area.

The recognition and success within the oil and gas industry has gained Posithread acceptance into world-wide markets. Since then we have been approved to manufacture premium threads, and have license agreements with Hunting’s, Tenaris and N S Connections.
